About The Legends Golf Course at Parris Island

Fred Findley designed the original course at MCRD Parris Island in 1947, and it ran until 1996. Part of the layout overlapped the 1566 Spanish Santa Elena archaeological site, so Clyde Johnston redesigned it; the $4.5 million renovation finished in 1999 and the course reopened in 2000. The public can play with a base pass.
