Lexington Golf Club, founded in 1895, is a private nine-hole course now at 55 Hill Street in North Lexington. It began operating out of an old barn on the former Monroe property before moving to its present site on the one-time Vaille farm. The club is recognized by the USGA as one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the United States.
