Lochmere Golf Course

Lochmere Golf Club in Cary opened in 1985, designed by Raleigh native Gene Hamm, who began his career as a caddie at the Raleigh Golf Association and went on to design more than 60 courses. Laid out near Swift Creek, the 6,627-yard par-71 course brings water into play on nearly every hole and is known for tree-lined fairways and small, well-bunkered greens.
