About Lone Star Golf Club

Lone Star Golf Club is a public 18-hole course (par 71, about 6,411 yards) at 1510 Hawkins Blvd in El Paso, first opened for play in 1975 and attributed to designer Marvin H. Ferguson. It was formerly known as Cielo Vista Golf Course (and earlier Del Norte Country Club), and is a relatively flat, tree-lined, accessible layout long regarded as one of the easier courses in El Paso, with views of the Franklin Mountains.
