About The Resort at Longboat Key Club

The Resort at Longboat Key Club near Sarasota has two complexes: Islandside (now Links on Longboat), a Gulf-side Bill Mitchell design opened in 1960, and the 27-hole Harbourside on Sarasota Bay (Red Hawk, White Egret, Blue Heron), a Willard Byrd design opened in 1982. Ron Garl led redesigns in the 2000s as part of a roughly $20 million resort program. Guests and visitors play it as a resort.
