About Lubbock Country Club

Lubbock Country Club, established in 1921, is the oldest private championship golf club on the South Plains of Texas, originally founded as a golf, hunting and fishing club. The course as it developed is credited primarily to Warren Cantrell, with subsequent renovation work by George B. Williams (1995), Craig Schreiner (2008) and Colligan Golf Design (2015 and 2018). It sits on rolling terrain unusual for the Lubbock area.
