River Hills Country Club is a private course laid out along the Nueces River in Corpus Christi. It began in 1946 as a 9-hole layout designed by Warren Cantrell; Leon Howard added a second nine in 1965 to make it 18 holes. Water comes into play on nearly half the holes.
