About Madera Municipal Golf Course

Madera Municipal Golf Course is a city-owned public course in Madera, opened in June 1991 to a Robert Dean Putnam design. The 18-hole, par-72 layout sits in the Central Valley near Highway 99 and plays past grape vineyards, almond orchards and pomegranate orchards. It has long been noted for having some of the best greens in the San Joaquin Valley, and is operated for the City of Madera by Sierra Golf Management.
