Medalist Village Club & Spa

Medalist Golf Club opened in January 1995 as the first design collaboration between Australian great Greg Norman and legendary architect Pete Dye. Set in Hobe Sound, the course became closely tied to Norman, who founded it, and later to Tiger Woods, who uses it as a home practice ground. The original Dye-Norman layout featured firm, running turf, sandy native buffers and low-profile greens open in front to reward creative approaches. In 2015 architect Bobby Weed led a major renovation that lowered greens, reworked hazards and restored the design's understated, natural aesthetic. Soon after opening the club hosted Shell's Wonderful World of Golf, a Norman-Price match that lifted its profile, and in 2020 it staged The Match: Champions for Charity, with Woods and Peyton Manning facing Phil Mickelson and Tom Brady. Today Medalist is home to numerous tour professionals.
