Morningstar Golf Club opened in 1991 on Indianapolis' east side, off South Mitthoeffer Road. The semi-private 18-hole layout plays from five sets of tees, and its bunkers, water hazards and narrow fairways reward a sharp short game. The club has a reputation for some of the toughest greens in Indiana and was named one of Golf for Women magazine's Top 100 Fairways for Women.
