We love how New Albany balances two moods on one property, Carolina softness one moment and Scottish grit the next, all threaded around a working creek and a piece of protected history. A Nicklaus design in his home region, played by neighbors, is exactly the community golf we cheer for.

About New Albany Country Club
New Albany Country Club anchors the master-planned New Albany community northeast of Columbus, and its Jack Nicklaus golf holes have been part of that vision since the early 1990s. Nicklaus, a Columbus native, laid out 27 holes across varied terrain and played a dedication round to open the course. The routing weaves Rocky Fork Creek through the property, with stretches that evoke the lush parkland feel of the Carolinas and others that channel the rugged, windswept character of Scottish links. Cart paths were even routed to preserve a 19th-century home listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Today the private club counts roughly 1,300 members and pairs the Nicklaus course with a well-equipped, year-round golf academy for instruction and club fitting.
