The OGA Golf Course is owned by the Oregon Golf Association. In 1991 the OGA studied building its own course and found the cost prohibitive. In 1992 Tukwila Partners offered to donate more than 179 acres of farmland in Woodburn, a former hazelnut orchard on sandy soil. Bill Robinson designed the course; the first nine opened in 1994 and the second in 1996. It was built to host OGA and junior championships, and Golf Digest named it one of the top 10 affordable courses in the U.S. in 1996.
