Old Marsh Golf Club

Old Marsh Golf Club opened in 1987 on a roughly 440-acre parcel of marshland and grassland between Jupiter and North Palm Beach. Pete Dye, working with Chris Lutzke, routed the holes as a string of relatively isolated corridors threading through preserved wetlands, and he later called it a candidate for his finest design. Securing the wetland setbacks and permits took years, and the resulting layout is deliberately lower-profile than many of Dye's flashier 1980s courses so as not to disturb the surrounding sanctuary. The club is known for its environmental stewardship, its caddie program, and a traditional no-tee-times ethos. The course stretches past 7,000 yards. In 2016 the Dye family carried out a careful renovation, including new TifEagle greens, while leaving the natural ecosystem intact.
