About Pacific Dunes

Pacific Dunes opened on July 1, 2001, as the second course at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort on the southern Oregon coast. Tom Doak had toured the property in 1994 and lobbied owner Mike Keiser for the first course. When that went to David McLay Kidd, Keiser gave Doak the second. It opened to glowing reviews, quickly became the resort's highest-rated course, and made Doak's name. It hosted the 2006 Curtis Cup and the 2015 U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball.
