About Sahm Golf Course

Sahm is an Indy Parks municipal course in northeast Indianapolis. The park was first developed as a city park in 1963 under the name Northeastway, and the golf course is credited to Pete Dye, described by Indy Parks as one of his early designs. It was renamed William S. Sahm Park and Golf Course in 1977 in honor of Sahm, longtime executive director of Indianapolis's Catholic Youth Organization. The layout is flat and open, with water on six holes and sand on nine.
