Est. 1925 · A.W. Tillinghast (original nine, built under Noble C. Miller); second nine 1965
Why we love this place
A Tillinghast-touched club near the shores of Cayuga Lake where Babe Didrikson once played an exhibition. We love Seneca Falls for its century of history, its Old Nine character and a membership that has carried the club through fire, ownership changes and a hundred Finger Lakes summers.

About Seneca Falls Cc
Seneca Falls Country Club was incorporated on July 6, 1925, when investors from Seneca Falls and Waterloo paid $3,500 for 115 acres of the Muffley Farm on Lake Road, near the shore of Cayuga Lake. A.W. Tillinghast consulted on the design, and Noble C. Miller of Canandaigua oversaw construction of the original nine, still known as the Old Nine, which welcomed 125 charter members. The club drew exhibitions from Babe Didrikson in 1948, Gene Sarazen and Marlene Hagge, and in 1965 it opened a second nine to complete eighteen holes. Goulds Pumps owned the club from 1985 until it returned to the membership in the early 1990s. After an October 1999 fire destroyed the clubhouse, a new one opened in 2001, and in 2012 the club hosted the New York State Women's Amateur.
