Shenendoah Golf Course

Shenendoah opened in 2000 as the first of Turning Stone Resort's championship courses, designed by Rick Smith for the Oneida Indian Nation. Named for the Oneida chief who helped lead the nation to side with the colonists during the Revolutionary War, the 7,000-plus-yard layout blends wooded parkland holes, open pasture stretches with a links feel, and low-country-style holes shaped from the natural landscape. Built and maintained to tour standards, it hosted the PGA National Club Professional Championship in 2006 and has collected honors including recognition among the top courses you can play and the best resort courses in the Northeast. In 2016 Smith returned to reroute and renovate the course, building seven new holes to refresh the resort's original eighteen.
