About Slammer & Squire
The Slammer & Squire opened in May 1998 as the first golf course at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida, the home of the World Golf Hall of Fame. It was designed by Bobby Weed with legendary players Sam "The Slammer" Snead and Gene "The Squire" Sarazen serving as design consultants, and the course name honors their nicknames. It is one of two 18-hole courses at the World Golf Village Resort, the other being the King & Bear.
