About Spessard Holland Golf Course

This Melbourne Beach course opened in 1977 as a Brevard County municipal facility and was redesigned in 2000 by Arnold Palmer's firm (Palmer, Ed Seay and Robert Walker). It is named for Spessard Lindsay Holland (1892-1971), Florida's 28th Governor and a U.S. Senator. The executive-length layout plays about 5,155 yards to par 67 with 9- and 18-hole options; the county sold the course to operator Golf Brevard in 2018.
