About The Cape Club

The Cape Club in North Falmouth was originally Ballymeade Country Club, an owner-built layout from the late 1980s known for narrow, quirky, blind-shot-heavy holes. About five years after opening, Jim Fazio (brother of Tom Fazio) was hired to redesign it, with pro golfer Chi Chi Rodriguez credited as a design consultant. In 2015 Troon took over management and VP of course development Ron Despain led an extensive remodel, moving some 200,000 cubic yards of earth to remove blind spots; it now operates as The Cape Club by Troon.
