The Club at Porto Cima

The Club at Porto Cima opened in 2000 as Missouri's only Jack Nicklaus Signature course set along the water, the centerpiece of a private lakeside community on the Lake of the Ozarks inspired by the family's visits to the Italian coastal village of Portofino. Nicklaus routed roughly 7,100 yards of par 72 through thick Ozark forest and dramatic elevation changes, saving several of his most memorable holes for the shoreline, where the layout plays beside or over the lake. The course drew immediate acclaim, earning national recognition from Golf Digest among the country's best new and best private courses. Nicklaus himself spoke fondly of the property, and the club has remained a premier private destination in the region, with KemperSports selected to manage operations in 2025.
