The Legacy Golf Club at Lakewood Ranch is an Arnold Palmer-designed championship course that opened in 1997, built by Schroeder-Manatee Ranch as the first course for the Lakewood Ranch master-planned community in Bradenton. The roughly 7,100-yard layout winds through stands of old pines and live oaks draped in Spanish moss; it changed ownership in 2015 and operates as a daily-fee public course.
