There's real pedigree here: a Nicklaus-trained architect handed one of Wisconsin's best glacier-carved sites and given room to let it breathe. We love how Bristlecone reads the Kettle Moraine landscape instead of fighting it, rewarding golfers who think their way around every ridge and wetland.

About The Legend at Bristlecone
Originally opened in 1996 as Bristlecone Pines Golf Club, this Hartland course was designed by architect Scott Miller, a former senior designer for Jack Nicklaus. Miller routed the holes through rolling Kettle Moraine terrain sculpted by glaciers of the last ice age, using the natural ridges, woods, and wetlands as the framework of the design. Water comes into play on roughly a dozen holes and sand bunkering is scattered throughout, with the course stretching to about 7,010 yards at a par of 71. In 2009 it was acquired by The Legend Clubs and renamed The Legend at Bristlecone, joining a Wisconsin group of courses that today includes sister layouts such as Brandybrook and Merrill Hills. It now operates as a members' club with limited guest access, playing seasonally from spring through late fall.
