Eagle Mountain Golf Club

Eagle Mountain Golf Club opened in 1996 in Fountain Hills, on the eastern edge of the Phoenix valley near the McDowell Mountains. Designed by Scott Miller, the public par-71 layout plays to roughly 6,755 yards from the tips and is best known for the way it threads through natural box canyons, rolling hills, and desert valleys, using significant elevation changes to frame its most memorable holes. The routing emphasizes harmony with the surrounding Sonoran landscape rather than wholesale reshaping of it, a design ethic that drew early acclaim. Soon after opening it was recognized by the Arizona Republic as the state's best new course, and it went on to collect strong ratings from national golf publications and repeated recognition as one of the area's top public courses. It remains a scenic, well-conditioned daily-fee option in the Scottsdale-area market.
