About The Meadows Country Club

The Meadows is a Frank Taylor "live where you play" development in Sarasota, approved in 1974. In 1976 Francis J. Duane (ASGCA), former chief designer for Robert Trent Jones, laid out the original Meadows course. The club grew into a 54-hole private facility — the Meadows (championship), the shorter Groves, and the Highlands (par 72, opened 1984) — with a Ron Garl redesign in 2004.
