Top of the Rock Golf Course

Top of the Rock is a nine-hole par-3 course at Big Cedar Lodge, perched above Table Rock Lake, that opened to national acclaim in 1997 as a Jack Nicklaus design. Far more than a short course, it features holes stretching beyond 200 yards, along with cliffs, exposed limestone ledges, waterfalls, hand-laid stone bridges, and an island green, all set against sweeping Ozark views. Its most historic distinction arrived in 2014, when it became the only par-3 layout ever used by the PGA Tour for an official championship, hosting a round of the PGA Tour Champions Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf through 2019 in partnership with the neighboring Buffalo Ridge Springs course. The setting, developed by Johnny Morris with input from golf legends including Nicklaus, Tom Watson, and Arnold Palmer, is among the most scenic in American golf.
