Why we love this place

Wentworth might be the most postcard-perfect round in New Hampshire: covered bridges, the Wildcat and Ellis Rivers, a white-steepled church and the Presidentials all around. It's short and walkable, and finishing with a stroll into Jackson Village is pure joy.

About Wentworth Golf Club

The Wentworth Golf Club has been part of Jackson Village since 1895, making it one of the oldest courses in the Mount Washington Valley. The 18-hole course sits right in the heart of the village: the Wildcat and Ellis Rivers wind through its grounds, crossed by covered bridges, with a white-steeple church nearby and views of the Presidential Range on every side. It is a compact par-70 layout of about 5,600 yards, and golfers often mention its elevation changes, bunkers and water hazards. After a round, players can walk to the cafes, pubs and restaurants of Jackson Village, and the club offers golf-and-lodging packages for visitors. It remains open to the public each summer and early fall, and is one of the signature golf experiences of the White Mountains' most picturesque village.
