The Challenge Course opened in 1990 as the second 18-hole course at White Deer Golf Club, which sits on 388 acres of farmland and also has the Vintage Course and a nine-hole, par-3 Executive Course. Lindsay B. Ervin designed the Challenge. The par-72 layout plays 6,587 yards from the blue tees and has eleven water hazards.
