About Widgi Creek Golf Club

Widgi Creek opened in 1991 in Bend, originally as Seventh Mountain Golf Village. The first nine opened that year and the second nine in 1992. It was designed by Robert Muir Graves, a former president of the American Society of Golf Course Architects, who had built the Big Meadow course at Black Butte Ranch two decades earlier and lived in Bend until his death in 2003. The short par-3 fifth plays to a green wrapped around four pines known as the "Widgi Pines."
