About WildeWood

WildeWood is a private 18-hole course in Columbia, South Carolina, designed by Russell Breeden. The WildeWood community began in 1960 when Heath Manning and Darnell Boyd purchased roughly 1,600 acres envisioned as a polo-and-golf community; sources differ on the golf course's opening date (the official club history cites 1964, while other listings cite 1976). On January 23, 2009, members purchased and merged WildeWood with Woodcreek to form The Members Club at Woodcreek and WildeWood.
