About Willbrook Plantation

Willbrook Plantation Golf Club opened in 1988 on the Pawleys Island site of a rice plantation established in 1798, built after a 1987 archaeological study of the Willbrook, Oatland and Turkey Hill plantations. Dan Maples designed the course, with wide fairways around lakes and wetlands, and called it one of his best. The property includes historical markers, a standing chimney from the plantation house and a cemetery marker.
