About William Land Golf Course

William Land Golf Course opened in 1924 in William Land Park and is described as Sacramento's oldest public golf course, now a nine-hole layout. The park was funded by hotelier William Land, who left $250,000 to buy a public park for children and the poor. The city-owned course is managed by Morton Golf. The original designer is not reliably established.
