About Woodlands Country Club

The Woodlands Golf & Country Club is an 18-hole championship course in Columbia, South Carolina, built in 1974 and generally credited to Russell Breeden (some sources also associate George Cobb). It spans about 188 acres and plays roughly 6,658 yards. Originally named "Valhalla," it was once owned by Wendy's founder Dave Thomas, and has hosted events including a 2003 U.S. Amateur qualifier and Carolinas Golf Association tournaments.
