Bonita Bay Club West

Bonita Bay Club West is the inland golf home of the Bonita Bay community in Bonita Springs, and every one of its holes carries the signature of architect Arthur Hills. Hills routed three courses here over roughly a decade, letting southwest Florida's wetlands, cypress stands and native marsh dictate the lines of play. The Marsh course came first in 1985, its fairways threading through preserved wetland; Creekside followed in 1989, and Bay Island completed the trio in 1994. The result is a low-country style rare for the region, where water and native vegetation frame nearly every shot rather than sitting off to the side. Long a private club prized for conditioning and environmental stewardship, Bonita Bay West remains one of the area's most respected multi-course facilities.
