Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course

Est. 1994 · George Sargent (with MHF Design)
Why we love this place

Campbell's Scottish Highlands brings a links-style flavor to old Salem farmland, with George Sargent's rolling holes laid out across 135 open acres. We love that it's a family-run public course with a full range, a Hole-in-One Hall of Fame, and a relaxed, fun feel that suits every kind of golfer.

About Campbell's Scottish Highlands Golf Course

Campbell's Scottish Highlands opened in 1994 in Salem, close to the Massachusetts line, on about 135 acres of former farmland in southern New Hampshire. George Sargent designed the 18-hole course together with MHF Design, shaping the gently rolling farm ground into a links-style layout in keeping with the Scottish name. Golfers who have written about the course describe it as a short, enjoyable links-style test that still carries the feel of an old farmstead. Campbell's has been a public facility from the start, and it pairs the course with a full driving range practice area. The operation describes itself as a family business with a strong emphasis on customer service, and it keeps a Hole-in-One Hall of Fame to recognize the aces made on its holes. Its location just off the state line makes it an easy drive for golfers from northern Massachusetts as well as southern New Hampshire.
