About Catamount Country Club

Catamount Country Club is a regulation-length nine-hole course on Mountain View Road in Williston, in the Taft Corners area east of Burlington. GolfPass dates the course to 2002 and credits its design to Marty Keene, though one ranking site gives 2000 as the opening year. The nine plays to par 35 at roughly 2,800 to 3,000 yards depending on the tees, with bentgrass greens and fairways, and walking is welcome. Alongside the course the club runs a driving range and a golf school, and it presents itself as a favorite spot for families, beginners and intermediate golfers during the spring, summer and fall. Despite the shared name, the course is separate from the nearby Catamount Outdoor Family Center, the nonprofit trail network on Governor Chittenden Road.
