Caves Valley Golf Club

Caves Valley Golf Club, a member-owned, not-for-profit club northwest of Baltimore in Owings Mills, Maryland, was established in 1991 on roughly 960 acres of rolling hills, pastures, woods, and wetlands. Designed by Tom Fazio, the course is known for its fast greens, flowing fairways, and strategic water hazards set into the Worthington Valley landscape. Despite its relatively young age, Caves Valley built a strong championship resume, hosting the 2002 U.S. Senior Open, the 2014 International Crown, and the 2017 Senior Players Championship. It reached the top tier of professional golf as host of the 2021 BMW Championship, a FedEx Cup Playoffs event, where Patrick Cantlay outlasted Bryson DeChambeau in a dramatic six-hole sudden-death playoff. The club was selected to host the BMW Championship again in 2025, underscoring its rise as one of the premier modern venues in the mid-Atlantic region.
