The Alotian Club

Tucked into the tumbling, wooded hills near Roland outside Little Rock, The Alotian Club is the vision of financier Warren Stephens, son of former Masters chairman Jackson Stephens. Stephens and architect Tom Fazio walked the undulating property in 2001, and after roughly three years of shaping the dramatic elevation changes, the ultra-private course opened for play in 2004. Fazio, working alongside associate Beau Welling, routed a par-72 that stretches beyond 7,400 yards, using the natural fall of the land, water, and towering trees to frame each hole. Named as a nod to the Augusta National ethos its founder admired, Alotian quickly became the first course in Arkansas to crack national top-100 rankings. It hosted the 2013 U.S. Junior Amateur, spotlighting the club on a broader stage.
