The Estancia Club

Estancia opened in 1995 as Tom Fazio's first course in the Scottsdale area, spread across roughly 640 acres on the northern slope of the landmark Pinnacle Peak. Fazio routed the par-72 layout, measuring around 7,300 yards, through dramatic granite boulder formations, towering saguaros, and sweeping views of the distant Sonoran peaks. Early holes skirt Pinnacle Peak's granite base, while much of the back nine climbs into the hills, drawing on great natural elevation change rather than manufactured features. The course earned Golf Digest's Best New Private Course honor for 1996 and anchors a private, gated community. Known for its bentgrass greens and immaculate conditioning, Estancia helped establish Fazio's reputation in the Arizona desert and remains one of the most admired private clubs in the state.
