Pelican Hill Golf Club

Pelican Hill Golf Club sits on the coastal hills above Newport Beach and comprises two Tom Fazio designs that opened within a few years of each other at the start of the 1990s: Ocean South in 1991, followed by Ocean North around 1993. Both eighteens tumble through canyons toward the Pacific, offering ocean views from every hole and, on the South Course, a memorable stretch dropping toward the coastline. Fazio routed the pair to showcase the dramatic elevation changes and blue-water backdrop that define the property. Both courses have been ranked among Golf Digest's list of America's greatest public courses, and the club forms the golf centerpiece of the surrounding luxury resort, one of Southern California's premier daily-fee experiences.
