About Cedar Creek Golf Course

Cedar Creek opened in 1989 on San Antonio's northwest side, north of Loop 1604 off Kyle Seale Parkway, and is one of the City's municipal courses on the Alamo City Golf Trail. It was originally designed by Finger Dye Spann, Inc. and is billed as a Hill Country layout with dramatic elevation changes and strategic doglegs. The course was renovated under architect Jeffrey D. Blume, ASGCA, and reopened in late 2024. It hosts the San Antonio Open annually and formerly hosted local U.S. Open qualifiers.
