Why we love this place
A Catskills inn with two centuries of hospitality and a mountain course the family built themselves. We love Christman's for its sweeping Windham views, its 27 holes of variety and the old-fashioned resort warmth that makes a golf weekend here feel like a family reunion.

About Christman's Windham House
Christman's Windham House is a family-run country inn and golf resort on Route 23 in Windham, in the northern Catskills of Greene County. The inn dates to 1805 and is described as the oldest continuously operating inn in the Great Northern Catskills; the Christman family took it over in 1952. The resort's nine-hole Valley Course has been open since 1965, and between 1991 and 2003 the family built an eighteen-hole Mountain Course on the hillside above it, a layout of roughly 7,100 yards that is longer and more demanding than the walkable Valley nine. Together the two give the resort 27 holes, and the property adds hotel rooms, dining, a pool, tennis and stay-and-play packages on its mountain acreage.
