About Lake Placid Club - Pristine Nine
The Pristine Nine is the Lake Placid Club's short course, laid out by Alexander H. Findlay in 1910. Its seven par 3s run from about 90 to 200 yards to small, undulating greens, and its two par 4s, at 260 and 272 yards, are reachable from the tee. Moose are known to visit the 7th, where the tee shot carries a pond. A round takes about an hour and a half, which makes it a family course or a quick lunchtime nine.
