Est. 1910 · Alex Findlay (original holes); Donald Ross (1920s-30s 18-hole design)
About Plymouth Country Club
The land was first home to the Hotel Pilgrim, for which Alex Findlay laid out nine rudimentary holes in the early 1900s, including three along Cape Cod Bay. Plymouth Country Club was founded in 1910 and took over the course. Donald Ross arrived in 1921 to add nine holes, returned in 1929 to build nine more, and in 1939 built the current holes 1-3; the club today plays Ross's 18-hole design of roughly 6,300 yards, par 69, and is a well-regarded example of his work in Massachusetts.
