About Roy Kizer Golf Course

Roy Kizer Golf Course is a City of Austin municipal course sharing a 36-hole complex with Jimmy Clay, added in 1994. It plays as a links-style layout with wetlands and lakes in play. It is named for Roy Kizer, longtime golf course superintendent at Lions Municipal Golf Course from 1937 until his 1973 retirement, honored for his course care and support of junior golf.
