Cross Creek Country Club opened in 1973 in Mount Airy (Surry County), at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains, with an 18-hole, par-72 layout of about 6,775 yards designed by Joseph Lee; Kris Spence renovated the course in 2005. It operates as semi-private, open to the public.
