About Dancing Rabbit Golf Club
Dancing Rabbit Golf Club sits on ancestral Choctaw land roughly 90 miles northeast of Jackson, owned and operated by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians alongside the Pearl River Resort. Its 36 holes were co-designed by Tom Fazio and Jerry Pate and routed through stands of ancient pines and hardwoods. The Azaleas course opened first in 1997, followed by The Oaks in 1999. The club takes its name from the Big and Little Dancing Rabbit Creeks that wind through the property, a nod to a historic Choctaw assembly ground. The layouts earned national attention for their conditioning and shot values, and the property served for years as a host of the Nationwide Tour (now the Korn Ferry Tour), giving a tribal-owned facility a rare spot in the professional developmental circuit.
