Egypt Valley Cc - Classic Course

The Classic Course is part of Egypt Valley Country Club, a 36-hole private club on 357 acres of rolling ground in Ada, just east of Grand Rapids, Michigan. Both of the club's eighteen-hole courses were designed by acclaimed architect Arthur Hills and opened in 1989. The club's roots reach back to 1931, when members acquired the former Masonic Country Club and renamed it Green Ridge Country Club; five decades later they voted to sell that site and build this larger facility. Hills, a Toledo-based designer educated at Michigan State and the University of Michigan, admired the property's great soil, elevation changes, and wonderful hardwoods. The Classic configuration plays to a par of 72 and stretches beyond 7,100 yards from the back tees, blending dramatic elevation change with wetlands, hardwoods, and open meadow across some of West Michigan's most scenic private golf ground.
