Flint Hills National Golf Club

Flint Hills National opened in 1997 in Andover, just east of Wichita, and is widely considered the most exclusive golf club in Kansas. The Tom Fazio design was the vision of Tom Devlin, who made his fortune with Rent-A-Center, and it routes gracefully through the rolling tallgrass prairie that gives the region its name. Playing to a par of 71 at roughly 7,080 yards, the course pairs Fazio's polished shaping with the wide, windblown character of the Kansas grasslands, and it sits within a high-end gated residential community. Despite its relative youth, Flint Hills National has compiled an impressive championship record, hosting USGA events including the 2001 Women's Amateur, the 2007 Senior Amateur, and the 2017 Junior Amateur, along with several Trans-Mississippi Championships, and it ranks year after year among the finest courses in the state.
