About Forsyth Country Club

Forsyth Country Club was founded in 1913 and is a longstanding part of Winston-Salem's history, set on roughly 172 acres of rolling, wooded terrain. In 1918 A.W. Tillinghast laid out a 9-hole course, and Donald Ross was subsequently engaged to extend it into an 18-hole layout. The club has deep Carolinas golf roots, hosting events such as the Southern Conference Championship (1942) and the Carolinas PGA Championship (1959).
